I don't know about you, but I love perusing craiglist to see if I can find any deals. You just never know what you'll stumble upon, and I have gotten my fair share of steals, and sold some items along the way as well.
Many readers have asked where I bought my kitchen table and chairs - that would be craigslist. If memory serves, I think I scored it for $125 for the table and all of the chairs. Not only was it a great deal, but the fact that I got five chairs (in this family of four world) was huge.
This dresser that I revamped was another craigslist score. Still love it.
While surfing craigslist, I came upon this gorgeous table, and wish that I had a place to freshen it up and put it in my home or even sell it. It has great bones, don't you think? And did you see that price?! $75!! Yes, please. I can totally envision this piece transformed by some Annie Sloan chalk paint in some way, shape or form.
But, along with the beautiful deals, there are always some, shall we say, questionable items posted for sale. Exhibit A.
If that entertainment center doesn't float your boat, don't worry, there are other options. Like this one. I don't know about you, but I'm sure I would feel perfectly safe picking this up from the seller. I mean, what's a skull and cross bones between acquaintances? And it appears as though they're wrestling fans by the looks of the tv...
I'm sure I'm not the only one who stumbles upon these kinds of craigslist ads - what's the craziest you've seen? Better yet, what's the best deal you've gotten on craigslist?
