Greetings!
I'm loving all of the great fall ideas that are sprouting up in blogland, and thought I'd share a quick, cheap and cute idea for a fall table.
Seriously, it doesn't get much easier than this.
I started with hurricanes that I bought at Goodwill for $1.99 each. I swear, I can't ever pass these up when I see them.
The next ingredient is simple (and yummy).
Put it all together and you end up with this.
(No, my candles aren't wavy - just the wave of the hurricane making it look a little funky.) You get the idea. Fun and festive for fall!

Good idea this is one I may try.
ReplyDeletegood morning...great idea...simple and cute...perfect!!...I also wanted to ask you about the painting of your island...I'm considering painting my kitchen cabinets soon...they are a cider stained maple...nice, but I'd like white better...it looks from the pics like yours may be the same wood...if you have a sec, let me know...and come on over and visit and follow along to if you'd like!!....your home is gorgeous!!..xo, Mariaelena
ReplyDeleteEasy and festive! Thanks for sharing.

I love using candy corns to decorate for fall but alas, I can no longer do it because they mysteriously disappear! They look so cute in your hurricanes! *sigh* I'll just admire yours from afar. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm passing through some of the blogs and thought id stop and say hello. And i hope that you folks have a very nice fall weekend. Richard from the Amish community of Lebanon Pennsylvania.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of candy corn around for Thanksgiving decorations lately, and it's making me very jealous! You can't even buy candy corn in NZ!
