Nice modern owls like these...
These fluffy guys just look plain happy, don't they?
Super cute party cookies...
I want to bring one of these into the office and drink coffee out of it at a staff meeting...
So, how could I resist this little fellow I found (for $3) at Goodwill?
A few coats of glossy white spray paint, and he's looking sharp, don't you think?
And if you don't like his new look, I don't think he gives a hoot. ;-)

I love it when I can get a trendy look without spending a lot, this is a great example of that. He's a cutie!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great in white! I love the fluffy ones too.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

They are cute! It took me a little while to get used to them agin but now I think I need one. :) Have you seen the cute necklaces?
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to find a pretty glossy owl myself. They are so cute! :) Yours looks GREAT!!
ReplyDeleteI love owls! This is awesome! He looks so fancy with his shiny new coat!
ReplyDeleteI love the white paint! Owls are too fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the painted owl! I am going to spray a few of my roosters after seeing your owl and some pears on another blog!
ReplyDeleteMy friend just sent me this link to your blog. I am so glad she did, because I have that same exact owl that you spray painted glossy white!! :) I bought mine a few months ago at Goodwill for $2.99 and primed it, then spray painted it Heirloom White. I love my owl and while I love the other cute modern owls decorations, I love the stature of this one. So funny that you would find the same one. They truly are beautiful now that they have been given a make-over.
ReplyDeleteIT LOOKS AWESOME!!! I'm actually half way though spray painting two squirrels glossy white (I've done 3 coats but am still struggling to get into all the nooks and crannys -- those dark squirrels have so much detail in their big tails! ha!). I'm posting about it later today! Totally the same thing. Yours looks totally perfect :) Good job! How many coats?
