Hey all!
I'm kicking off this Monday by joining in at Debbiedoos Summer Painting Party and Centsational Girl's Garden Link Party. I recently posted about container gardening for dummies and how much I love the way flowers brighten up the exterior of a home. So, you can imagine how happy I was that the previous owner of our home left us some goodies to work with on the front porch.
So, I lugged them over to the side of the house to assess the possibilities.
Nothing a little spray paint can't fix.
Martin the Wonder Dog wasn't impressed.
But look at them now!
What have you been sprucing up this summer?

Great new look I actually like it better.
ReplyDeleteThey look wonderful, Jenny! I love how they work with your existing black ones. You have a really nice entry to your house - I love that you have enough room to sit.
ReplyDeleteJenny those are so classy looking. Great choice of color with the stones and brick. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty makeover!
ReplyDeleteI understand completely how difficult it is to win decor approval from Canine Kids!;-)
So pretty! Love the contrast of the black pots and your light-colored house. They pop so much better even though I liked their worn "before" finish. Nice plantings too!
ReplyDeleteAmazing what a little bit of spray paint does! They turned out so pretty! ;)

You did a great job painting them and planting them. They look beautiful at your entrance! Nice work!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Pam
Looks GREAT! Your front porch and curb appeal is awesome. What a gorgeous home. :)
ReplyDeleteCrystal
They look so much better after the paint job. The color of the flowers really stands out.
ReplyDeleteHave you thought about switching their placement, tho? Putting the taller urn where the shorter ones are and then putting the shorter ones on the lowest step? Just an idea... I'm a nut for symmetry. LOL
Very pretty! love your brick walkway!
ReplyDeleteOh Jenny the urns look fabulous. In fact they look down right elegant.
ReplyDeletePaula
Good lord, I love your house. What a gorgeous entry. Those urns are just the icing on the cake!
