Hey all!
Hope the weather is warm and sunny where you are, as it's raining here. Again. But, here is something that brightened my day. I got an email from Emily at A Well-Dressed Home, who told me about her client, Jenny (who also sent me an email) from Modern Maizy, who had found my paneled headboard tutorial via Emily A. Clark.
Did you get all that? Two Jenny's and two Emily's.
Basically, it's an inspirational domino effect in action. Jenny was looking to redo her master bedroom, and as I did, fell in love with a photo Emily (A. Clark) posted on her blog from a local home tour. She saw my tutorial that was posted on Emily's blog, and took power tools into her own husband's hands and went for it!
Ok, I'll shut up now. Would you just look at this?
And this:
And what is a blog posting without a before photo:
I mean, hello? Didn't it turn out beautifully? I absolutely love it, and really think that she did an amazing job in emulating the photo from the Charlotte home tour we both originally saw on Emily's blog here:
Perfection! Head on over to Jenny's blog at Modern Maizy and give her some blog love.

Stunning and fabulous!! I adore this look, fresh and yet so classic and traditional. Gives the space a really high end look! Janell
ReplyDeleteIt definitely adds some interest behind the bed, Jenny. Makes it more the focal point. Great idea!

That paneled wall is fantastic but that BED! Wow... I love the shape of the headboard and the spindly posts. What a perfect contrast from the boxy paneling.
ReplyDeleteShe did an amazing job, I LOVE how it transformed the wall!! Martina
ReplyDeleteHi, Jenny! Thanks for the feature. It was a fun project. We love the result!
ReplyDeleteJust so you know, I have your headboard also bookmarked because I am going to do it in my room! I have a set up like yours right in between two windows. I have been trying to figure out a paint color... and I love this green one!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this from Jenny (from Sandy Jenney!lol.. had to add that since there were so many Jenny's
